Built in 1941 by the Lima Locomotive Works
A 4-8-4 GS-4 "Northern" type locomotive. 110 ft long 10 ft eide and 16 ft tall.
Boiler pressure of 300 psi

Engine and Tender Weight of 433 tons
64,800 Ibf Tractive Effort, 78,000 Ibf with Trailing Truck Booster can exceed 100mph.
In 1958 this beautiful engine was retired to Oaks Park amusement park. In 1974 she was completely restored to pull the 1976 Bicentennial Freedom Train throughout the United States. She is the only operable "streamlined" steam locomotive left of the Art Deco era. In her hauday she pulled the Southern Pacific "Daylight" coaches from Los Angeles to San Francisco over the scenic Coast Route and then on to Portland until 1955. She is considered one of the most beautiful locomotives ever built.
